We Are a prominent Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Enterprise
In 2012 Black Shepherd Pty Ltd was founded, with the Vision of becoming a “…prominent Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Enterprise, with a growing influence in the Africa Markets.
In the line with the group’s Mission Black Shepherd aims to: Generate a legacy of infrastructure projects that positively impact communities, through delivery, excellence and ownership.
The promise therefore is to deliver infrastructure that unlocks potential.
Black Shepherd is an independent Project Management and Project Implementation company, we are fully incorporated in South Africa and have capabilities that spread over Telecoms (ICT) and Electrical Engineering Infrastructure Projects
Our Clients include, amongst others, Eskom Holdings SOC Limited, PRASA, Municipalities, Government and several other individuals and private companies in the high-value commercial development market.
International Presence
Going forward, the company intends to establish a significant foothold on the sub-saharan Continent. Our international operations currently are supported by Zimbabwe and Lesotho, where we have done some work in recent years.
Plant, Tools and Equipment
Black Shepherd has, available to us are general contractors’ tools, vehicles, Yellow plant, Road construction plant, power line electrical infrastructure construction tools, adequate for a variety of projects and significant scale of work. Our List of Plant, Tools and Equipment is available on request.
Supplier and sub Contractors
In many ways construction is supported by sub-Contractors and suppliers. We acknowledge this and through our integrated Management System, the evaluation, selection and management of Supplier and Sub-contractors is a critical success factor for our organization. We have established good relationship with the supplier and sub-contractors in our areas of interest. With our experience in Project Management we always commit to the use of quality suppliers, and reliable sub-contractors where such a need arises. We can provide our list of critical suppliers and subcontractors if required.
Safety Performance Model
Working with Leaders, our Safety Performance consultants develop targeted programs aligned to your organizations operational and strategic objectives, delivering change that ‘sticks’.
Our Safety Performance team understands that it’s not possible having the same processes, policies, forms, systems and risk profiles as everyone else; and then expecting a competitive difference.
For example, if your training is not targeted or is delivered time and time again, your documents are off-the-shelf or protected by the people that built them, or your supporting systems are not contextualised, this simply cannot bring better ‘Safety Performance’.
